Recently, Monica had a show and seemingly stopped her performance after she spotted a man hitting a woman in the crowd. The singer then made it a point to hop off stage to confront the man. While off-camera, Monica could be heard cursing out the man, calling him a “sucker” and saying he shouldn’t hit a lady like that.
From there, the singer hopped back on stage and addressed the crowd, saying seeing the incident in the crowd triggered her. Along with that, Monica issued an apology to the crowd for stopping the show.
