Keefe D reveals that his nephew's favorite rapper was Tupac and that Orlando Anderson liked Tupac over Biggie Smalls.
After Reggie Wright Jr., the former head of security for Death Row Records, confirmed that there had been an “uptick” in police activity related to 2Pac Shakur’s unsolved murder, Keefe D responded to rumors this week that he might soon be charged for the notorious killing.
Wright Jr. had previously sat down with Bomb1st to elaborate on the 2Pac murder investigation, and noted that Keefe D, who has long been viewed as an alleged accomplice involved in the rapper’s murder, is likely very nervous about the new developments.
“Let’s put it this way, I bet Keefe D [has] been having the runs for the last two weeks,” Wright said. “Because yeah, they are knocking on doors and there’s some activity.”
Keefe D caught wind of Reggie’s comments, dismissed them in an interview with The Art of Dialogue, accusing the former Death Row security head of being “obsessed” with him.
“Not that I know of,” Keefe said when asked if he would soon be arrested and charged for the murder.“Unless he the U.S. fucking attorney or something. I don’t know, this dude obsessed with me. What the fuck, know what I’m saying?”
“I said I wasn’t gonna ever bring his name up again,” he continued. “He did that bullshit phone call. Like a tap line or something, ‘this is recorded,’ and he didn’t let me hear the shit. I should sue him and that fucking RJ Bond. That dude obsessed with me. He act like he wanna give me some head or something I don’t know what the fuck is wrong with him. He need to leave me the fuck alone.”
Keefe D added that he’s “tired” of Wright Jr., and cited Mariah Carey’s 2009 single “Obsessed” to get his point across.
“I’m tired of him. He bringing up my name,” Keefe continued. “He brought up my name from day one. I am tired of him...I don’t know what’s wrong with the dude. He obsessed with me. You heard of that song by Mariah Carey? Shit, leave me the fuck alone bitch.”
During a separate interview with The Art of Dialogue back in 2021, Keefe D admitted to being an accomplice in the car when his nephew Orlando Anderson, who has long been seen as the prime suspect in 2Pac’s murder, allegedly fired the fatal shots.
“We just pulled up to the stop light, they was making a right, there was about 17 cars,” Keefe said. “We just pulled up in the gutter lane and seen their ass, and that first shot hit Big Boy [Suge Knight] in the head, I thought he was dead, like damn, he’s dead.”
He continued, “He didn’t use him as a shield, the man was shot in the fucking head. Suge just ducked his head and the first bullet went in his head and the next one’s hit [2Pac] and he was trying to do a breakdance, trying to jump in the back seat or something. Looked like he was trying to jump up but bullets was hitting his ass. Once that windshield was shot out, pfff, it was over with after that.”
