DR. DRE STILL IN ICU ALMOST A WEEK AFTER BRAIN ANEURYSM

Dr. Dre is still in intensive care, one week after he was rushed to the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm, and doctors are still trying to figure out what happened.

Sources connected to Dre with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Dre's where he's been since last Monday -- in ICU at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. Our sources say doctors continue to do a battery of tests to get to the root problem. Doctors also want him in ICU in case, God forbid, he suffers another aneurysm ... if that happens, time would be of the essence.

After reports emerged yesterday (January 11) which claimed that Dre is still in the intensive care unit (ICU) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA, Ice-T shared an update on Dre in the form of an Instagram post in which he revealed that he’d spoken to the rapper.

“Just talked to the homie @drdre,” he wrote in a post accompanying an image of Dre. “He’s doing good and hopefully he’ll be home soon..”

Dr. Dre Has to ‘Advance’ His Estranged Wife $2 Million

Dr. Dre agreed on January 6 to “advance” his estranged wife, Nicole Young, $2 million — and cover all of her bills for now, according to a recently filed court document. TMZ appears to have first reported on the deal.

The rapper, whose legal name is Andre Young, agreed to “maintain the financial status quo, including but not limited to‚ the payment of all of Nicole’s expenses consistent with her spending since date of Separation, which includes paying for all expenses relating to the Malibu residence and the residence in the Palisades,” the stipulation states. As for the $2 million, he agreed to “advance the sum … on or before January 11, 2021.”

Dre is not going to pay for Nicole’s protection, though. Per the paperwork, Nicole is “responsible for the payment of her security expenses” until April 14, when both sides are expected in court to discuss her request for spousal support and legal fees.
